Output
An output is the result of a process. Outputs can be either tangible or intangible. The output from one process is often the input for another process.ISO 9001 lists four generic output categories: services, software, hardware, and processed materials. Outputs often combine several of these categories. For example, an automobile (an output) combines hardware (e.g. tires), software (e.g. engine control algorithms), and processed materials (e.g. lubricants).
